We are proud to be partnered with Map My Mole. A service which allows us to screen your moles in clinic and have them analysed by UK dermatologist consultants within 48 hours.
Wait times within the NHS for dermatology are extremely long and with this private service, aligned with the British Association of Dermatologists, those agonising waits can now be avoided.
If a concerning mole is imaged the dermatologist will inform the patient, providing them with a report that can be sent to their GP to speed up any referral.
The patient will receive your mole report via email, however if a concerning lesion is detected a dermatologist will also call to ensure they understand the report in its entirety and guide them of the next steps to take.
The aim is to empower individuals with the knowledge and resources necessary to prioritise skin health, contributing to early detection and prevention of skin cancer.
